This is a great book for transgender individuals (especially transmasculine) and their friends or family. It tells the story of this young man's life and going through transition. It can help those who feel out of place, are in doubt of their identity, or just want to see another person's experience going through growing up as trans. I would highly recommend this book.

THIS IS THE BOOK I NEEDED AS A TEEN. This is the book I want to get everyone in my family so they might understand me a little better. When I first read the title I felt less alone and understood already. Knowing this about myself was never a struggle internally, but finding the words was.

Though this is just one person's story about their experience, it is a candid look at what someone in this situation goes through, from the good, bad, confusing, and frustrating, but also the rewards of living an authentic life, even if that goes against the grain of what society has laid out as "normal" or "acceptable". I applaud this young person's willingness to be a source of hope and information for others, be it parents. siblings, friends, teachers or transgender people themselves.

If you are have this textbook for your business law class, then you are in luck! This is one of the best and most helpful textbooks that I have ever had the pleasure of using. (I mostly just use my textbooks as a pillow). I actually did enjoy reading this and learning the material. The author breaks down the concepts so they are easy to understand. Even if you hate law, if you put forth the effort to learn this, you should have no trouble at all learning and understanding the concepts. Whether or not the class will be easy is another thing.I enjoyed this book so much that I will not be selling it back to the bookstore (or anyone) because I know that I will use the book for years.

I had to buy this book for a class... I am not in the market to buy law books and read through them for fun. It was very expensive but it was required for the class. As law books go this one isn't bad. The authors actually try to put it in a language that students can understand and they even add in a little quip every once in a while. I am accounting major and this is the only law book I have had to buy but I imagine not very many of them are as easy to understand as this one. (I know none of my accounting books were) I don't know how many people will actually be looking to buy this for recreational reading but if you do I think it will probably be entertaining for you. If you are required to buy it like I was then don't be TO disappointed. I suppose it could be worse...

I somehow got the instructor's edition for this book, maybe I read the product description wrong. Great book if you want to learn something, I honestly felt this book helped me more rather than my teacher.

Paid almost $300 on this book, I have had it for a month and a half and both the front and back of the book cover are coming off. I haven't done any excessive opening and I don't put anything in my book that would cause it to rip the covers off. Very disappointed, should have just bought it somewhere else.

This is a really easy to understand Business Law text. I have very little experience with Business Law, and have had no issues understanding this text. It is a simple read, but has a lot of good, relevant information.

This book does a great job of providing all of the necessary information to cover each topic without becoming redundant. While it is not the most exciting read, it is easy to get through.

I'm a law geek. This book is a great first-law-class. I'm done with the class but I'm keeping the book because I loved the class so much.

I needed this book for a masters class. I decided on the paperback to save money. It was not clear that when you purchase the paperback you are only getting "selected chapters". I received the book and had to turn around and purchase another one because it did not include half the chapters I needed to read for class. The only way to know would be to click on the picture and zoom in to read the small print under the title.

I did not feel like I was reading another book that just told me what to do like I was a robot or something. There are easy explanations of the science behind why and how to fix this issue of overwhelm in this book.The author takes an in-depth look at sorting/organizing. The author presents more than mere steps to follow, she provides tips/lessons learned about how to sort/organize best, while making this new learned lesson a definite part of your life, so you will never feel overwhelmed or disorganized again. The tips and ideas are fairly concrete and useful.I really liked the fact that she was not a crazy minimalist and focused a lot on keeping the home cozy and homely. Why would anyone want to live in a neat empty white space after all?

I liked the title and the promise in the advertising for this book, but was disappointed with the very general advice, more on the level of a quick women's magazine article than a published book.

Practical advice and suggestions, nice links to how to videos on You Tube.com , nice list of additional reading and resources at the end of the book, and includes bits from Swedish Death Cleaning books and Danish Hygge.

This book includes some very basic introductions to minimalism & hygge. There are some actionable points to take home. If you’re looking for motivation, this isn’t particularly the book, but if you’re looking for the how-to and why behind it, it’s worth reading and won’t take you long to read.

I found this book to hold a lot of truth about why a person starts holding onto objects which develop into clutter. Facts like ‘I may need that later on & if not me then someone else in the house may be able to use it.’ An important factor is being able to let go of something when not needed anymore.The discarding plan described in the book has worked very well for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is really busy but needs a good way to get organized. Many useful hints and tips.My favorite parts were the room-to-room organizing tips and the little nuggets she recommended to do each month to keep coziness in the atmosphere.

I want to talk about two aspects of this book that influenced my rating. The first, and most relevant, is the content. It is a well written book, has great, easy to read and remember examples and pieces of information, and has a layout conducive to learning. The authors make the topic interesting and dispel the common misconceptions about career counseling right off the bat. If it was just about this, I would give it 5 stars. However, there is also a technical aspect that negatively influenced my learning experience. For one, the rental price is too high. The other issue is that you can only access this book on one device. So if you are reading on your computer, you cannot read on your phone while on your commute. Or if it is on your tiny phone, you cannot read it on your computer while doing work. This is unnecessarily restrictive and I cant see why these restrictions are even in place.

This is the driest book I've ever read in my entire life. I was really hoping that it would forever change my mind and preconceived notions about career theories and career counseling and open me, as a counselor, up to career counseling; however, it, unfortunately, will remain in the annals of my counseling library and destined to collect dust akin to the career counseling theories contained therein.

Pretty good book, really just needed it fast for an online summer class -- you know how fast those fly by! I feel really guilty for having bought it on July 10th as I know people are currently avoiding this site because of the way they treat their employees. It seems really ironic that I had to purchase the copy of this book here, as the book discusses finding meaning and happiness in work, which amazon clearly does not provide to their many underpaid, overworked employees. I will be donating to the worker's cause and I suggest you also check out how to help them.

This book is good for the info that it provides on the process of career counseling. However, It appears they didn't check the links to many of the web-based materials they reference. Half of them are broken or don't contain the information which the texts say should be there.

My book arrived with the MyCounselingLab access code. Together it was very expensive but I need the code; however, the code does not work and I have not found a way to contact Amazon to see if I can get a working code.

So dense and not at all reader friendly.

I cannot open this on my windows computer. This makes using this book for an open book exam useless. After reading one chapter and bombing my first test I am not finding a way to cancel the rental. I only read one chapter and I purchased 2 days ago

Pat Woods adult coloring books are becoming a household favorite, and his newest book in his series is pretty cool! Not only does it include images from his animal coloring book, which is nice to be able to color again, BUT he has included unicorns! Who doesn’t love coloring unicorns??? They are fun, whimsical and bold patterns making it easy to get lost in them!The bold patterns are one of my favorite features of Mr. Woods, setting him apart from other adult coloring books which have WAY too many lines and patterns and different things to color. I like larger coloring areas where color can be truly expressed instead of random tiny areas, which drives me INSANE!!!Another wonderfully made product with thick paper and a nice matte cover. Will definitely continue to purchase his coloring books!

I have purchased other coloring books by Pat Woods, including the Animal Designs, but …. UNICORNS! My daughter’s favorite - instant happiness for the 6-year-old! I keep finding my daughter has taken the book and colored random pages when I’m not looking.This book has a combination of animal designs as well as many intricate unicorns, so it has been a big hit in our household. The price is great for what you get, and is significantly longer than the others I have purchased. Our only (minor) complaint was that the orientation of the landscape unicorn designs should face out, as we tend to color while the page is in the book.We are happily coloring away, and look forward to seeing what comes next. Adult Coloring Book Stress Relieving Animal and Unicorn Designs by Pat Woods is delightful! Very similar to her boo with only unicorns but with more variety. There is an owl, an elephant, a rabbit, a kangaroo, and many more. This book has 125 pages of stress relief waiting for you to start coloring. I really enjoyed seeing the different designs and levels of difficulty ranging from easy to very intricate. So depending on how you are feeling that day, you can choose to color something with more or less detail. The book itself is very sturdy and bound together very well so you can carry it with you anywhere. I definitely recommend it.

Great book for the price. If you just want to color for stress release this book has cute illusrations you will surely have fun coloring. I like that it has 60 illustrations but there are duplicates though which is not a problem for me. The book has a good binding and the paper is not really that thick so it is only good for dry media coloring. Marker works great too since the illustration is printed in a single page. Had to put a cardboard under it though to avoid bleeding through the next page.

This was another nice coloring book by Pat. I love the animals in this one and the patterns used feel very tribal which I feel went very well with the animal theming in this book. There's quite a few designs too in this one thanks to the addition of the unicorn designs, adding variety to the designs you can pick from- always a plus for me since I like variety. Very easy to lose track of time so make sure you pace yourself and have a good time!

The owl on the cover orginally attracted me to this book since I love owls, but when I dove in, I was hooked! This is a beautifully drawn book, and I love the different types of pictures in this book. The pictures offer many opportunities to be creative, from simple to more difficult, but all levels of coloring experience will enjoy them.Coloring is an excellent way to relieve stress for children and adults alike. I have recommended this coloring book to many of my friends and family members as a way to take a break from the stresses of the day and relax.If you are looking for a way to relieve stress and concentrate on yourself, I invite you to give this book a try. You can work in colored pencils or markers since the back of the pages are blank and bleed through is not an issue.Let the artist in you go mad in these pages!

I bought another of his coloring books in the past and I was surprised by the level of detail in the designs. This was why I decided to buy another one by this author. He still does not disappoint and this time he has even added fantasy creatures. Though to be honest, I am not a big fan of unicorns so it’s not that big a deal. Coloring is cathartic as I learned from the previous book and what I also discovered was the importance of the designs. The more elaborate the designs the more color that can be utilized. In the end you feel a little joy over creating something beautiful. That and it is still relaxing, I have always doodled which still works for me but I am happy that I found out about coloring too.
